When he crossed the finish line Surban stretched a lead that almost over lapped his closes rival, it was simply amazing. Watching Nino is like watching a very well oiled machine in action. His pace did not fade what so ever from start to finish, he made everything look like just a walk in the park.

Well he has no competition just for the money so hopefully he get the much needed comp if ever he goes to Europe then we'll see if he is indeed "not human"

But a well deserved win being the favourite Smiley

@Nob

that's exactly my point Nob, the money that all the riders get from all the race here in Cebu is not that much... our race here in Cebu don't have too much for a cash price... and yet look at the passion and the dedication of my fella onin "idol"... the bikers you're talking about from europe have all the sponsors...! the amount of support that they get from their freaking sponsors is enough to make them live like kings, but it's a different story here... you don't know onin as a person, if you have the money why not sponsor our friend onin to go to europe and see what he's really made of...

My friend you don't know me that well & if you dId you know I have sponsored at least 6-7 races here & another is on the cards in in May June. Just ask some of the CC peeps on here!!

This man has a sponsor & a back up so he should move to Europe as the guy is gifted its unfortunate that no big commercial sponsor in Cebu has noticed this fact but had he showed the same talent in boxing or basketball dam sure he'd have a major sponsor.

Nob....you are correct to sponsor Events....that helps cycling develop as a sport....

I happen to know Nino,very nice young man with great talent on the bike...I also agree in the right "TEAM" he can really show us what he can do.

As most riders in Cebu would love Nino to compete and win in European events...why don't you all contribute to a Nino Surban fund....Stop talking about it and actually do something to help him....

 Outside RP he will need the resources of a pro Team. In order to get into a pro team he has to race in a country that selects riders for pro teams...(So far that is not really Asia)..
That is Nino's delema at the moment...Money is needed to stay in a Cycling Developed country long enough to get noticed,,
